  4. How are the seats further distributed within the Home State/UT and Other States/UT?

The seats within the Home State/UT (List-A) and Other States/UT (List-B) are distributed as per the following illustration:

  • SC: 10 seats in List-A, 5 seats in List-B
  • ST: 5 seats in List-A, 2 seats in List-B
  • OBC-NCL: 18 seats in List-A, 9 seats in List-B
  • Defence: 9 seats in List-A, 4 seats in List-B
  • General: 25 seats in List-A, 13 seats in List-B
