1. National Defence Academy (NDA) Entry

NDA is the most prestigious entry point for young aspirants who dream of joining the Indian Army. Conducted twice a year by UPSC, NDA serves as a gateway to the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Eligibility:

  • Age: 16.5 to 19.5 years

  • Qualification: 12th pass (Physics & Maths for Air Force/Navy, any stream for Army)

  • Gender: Both male and female candidates

Selection Process:

  1. Written Examination: Two papers – Mathematics (120 questions, 300 marks) and General Ability Test (GAT) (150 questions, 600 marks). Negative marking applies.

  2. SSB Interview: A five-day rigorous selection process.

2. 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES)
