CLASSIFICATION:

Classification means grouping. If the objects or items are grouped on the basis of their common properties, this process is known as Classification. 

The candidate is required to sort out that object which does not belong or which does not has the similar qualities which are found in the remaining objects. This test is also known as Odd-Man Out Test, because the candidate is required to find out that item which is dissimilar or which has different qualities.

In this test the questions are designed to test the ability of the candidate to classify given objects and find one which does not has the common characteristics with the other objects of the group.

The basis of classification in this type is the common feature or properties or qualities of the different items. The rules behind this classification are often very simple and can be easily understood.
