Eligibility Criteria

Age

Candidates must be aged between 20 and 27 years.

Qualification

  • Engineering Degree: A BE/B.Tech in one of the notified streams of engineering is mandatory.
  • Candidates in the final year of their engineering program are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit proof of passing before the commencement of training.

Marital Status

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.


Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting of Applications: Applications are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the engineering degree.
  2. Services Selection Board (SSB): Shortlisted candidates are called for SSB interviews, which assess their psychological, physical, and leadership abilities.

SSB Schedule

  • For the January Course: SSB interviews are conducted in March/April.
  • For the July Course: SSB interviews are conducted in September/October.

Training is conducted at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.
