The Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It runs Sainik Schools, which are English medium residential schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Sainik Schools prepare students (Cadets) to join prestigious defense training academies such as the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, and the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
