The admission of candidates to existing 33 Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools (under the 40% route and 60% route) will be carried out through e-counseling based on the merit in AISSEE 2024. Candidates need to register on https://sainikschool.ncog.gov.in/ecounselling for e-counseling after the declaration of results by NTA. The Final Merit List published by a Sainik School on its website after the Medical Exam will include the roll numbers of candidates in the order of their merit, reflecting the Main List (equal to the total number of seats in the category) and the Waiting List. If the Waiting List is exhausted for any reason, the remaining seats will be filled as per the norms for allotting unfilled seats under different categories. Admission is subject to school-wise, class-wise, and category-wise vacancies, merit, and medical fitness.
