How can I apply for AISSEE 2024?

a) Read the Information Bulletin carefully and ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements.

b) Check Appendix VI of the Information Bulletin to see if there are vacancies in your preferred Sainik School and relevant category.

c) Gather all the required information and scanned documents before applying online. These may include photographs, signature, left hand thumb impression, birth certificate, transfer certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificates, service certificate (if applicable), ID proof, credit/debit card for payment, and mobile phones for OTPs.

 

Step I: Registration Page

(i) Enter your Name/Mother's Name/Father's Name as recorded in the school records. Provide the Date of Birth in dd/mm/yyyy format as mentioned in the birth certificate/school records.

(ii) Select one identification type from options like School ID card, PAN Card, Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits), Passport Number, or any other Photo Identity Card issued by the Government.

(iii) Provide your Mobile Number and email address (your own or that of your parents).

(iv) Fill in the complete postal address with PIN Code for correspondence.

 

Step II: Fill in the complete Application Form

You can edit the application particulars entered in Step I before the final submission of the Application Form, except for the Mobile Number and Email address, which cannot be changed after payment.

 

Choice of Schools:

Refer to Chapter 2 for the choice of schools.

 

Choice of Examination Cities:

Select any four cities of your choice for the AISSEE 2024 examination from the options provided in Appendix IV. The exam city you choose does not have to be in the same state as your preferred Sainik School.

 

Note: Once you have made your choices, they cannot be changed. The allotment of the exam center is done by a computer, and no changes can be made after submission.

 

Uploading of scanned images:

- Upload a passport-size photograph (size: 10kb to 200kb) in JPG format. The photograph should be taken on or after 1st July 2022, clearly indicating the candidate's name and the date of taking the photograph. The photograph should focus on the face with 80% face coverage, visible ears, and a white background.

- Upload your signature in running handwriting with a black ink pen on white paper (file size: 4kb to 30kb in JPG format).

- Upload your left-hand thumb impression in blue ink on white paper (file size: 10kb to 50kb in JPG format).

 

Uploading of other certificates:

Scan and upload your domicile certificate, caste certificate, service certificate (if applicable), and date of birth certificate. The file size should be between 50kb to 300kb in PDF format. If your domicile certificate is not available, you can upload your parent's domicile certificate.

 

Step III: Payment of Fee and Status of Receipt of Online Application Form with Fee:

After completing Step II, you need to remit the examination fee. You can choose the Debit/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI mode of payment. Print the Confirmation Page after payment.

 

Note: Ensure that the fee payment status is 'OK.' If it is not, you may need to make the payment again. Once the fee is paid, you cannot make any changes in the form.

 

Remember to keep a copy of the Confirmation Page and proof of fee submission for future reference. Do not send a hard copy of the Confirmation Page to the NTA office.
